Date/Time

Starting April 7th, Deep Sky will be offering ground lessons 4 days a week, Monday-Thursday, from 6-9PM (currently flexible at request). The ground lessons will be located at 2801 East Camelback Rd STE 200.

Cost

The cost of the grounds are as low as $20. The small group ground, no more than five students, will be $30/hour. The large group ground, ten or more, students will be $20/hour.

Our Program

Our structured ground school, built by Rod Machado, is designed to provide a solid foundation in Private Pilot Knowledge through his renowned curriculum. This nine-week course follows his books and allows you to start learning from any lesson. It includes three phase checks, which is a multiple choice test, and must be passed to advance to the next phase. This program offers a flexible, comprehensive approach to mastering the essentials of aviation and preparing you for the next step in your pilot journey.
